Jul 31, 2012 at 18:10 comment added J. Walker Hey Luke, welcome to English SE. Perhaps it is called a teakettle wherever you come from. Anyway, the point of a kettle is to keep things hot. Putting it in the fridge is kind of pointless. There is a English language SE for people who are new to the language if you would like to look into that.
