1966 Flag-stepping incident

Fifty years of history are missing from the article.

Perhaps one of the more notable events was the American flag-stepping incident in the 1960s.

It occurred on about Sept 28, 1966. Donald Miller, the teacher of the English class, was perhaps making a point about symbols etc by acting it out. There was community furor and he was dismissed as a result. The incident received national attention.
