Microsoft Build

BUILD is Microsoft's new conference which is held in the fall for developers and designers for Windows, Windows Phone and Windows Azure and other Microsoft technologies. The conference debuted in 2011 at Anaheim, California for BUILD 2011. MIX was cancelled in favor of BUILD.

BUILD 2011 was held on the September 13 to September 16, 2011. The conference heavily focused on Windows 8 and related technologies.

BUILD 2012 is being held on October 31 to November 2, 2012. This year, the conference is being held at the Microsoft campus and has a focus on Windows 8 and Windows Phone developers.
