Jack Abbott is a British Labour Party politician who was elected MP for Ipswich in the 2024 United Kingdom general election.[1]

Abbott grew up in Suffolk.[2] He was a councillor on Suffolk County Council, being the "Labour group spokesperson for children’s services, education and skills". Later he worked for a trade association for renewable energy.[3] He had also worked as a teaching assistant at a school in Westminster.[2]
