Joe Robertson is a politician on the Isle of Wight. He was elected as MP for the Isle of Wight East constituency in July 2024.[1]
Political career
Robertson was elected to Isle of Wight Council in 2021. He served as the Conservative group leader between 2021[2] and 2023.[3].
He was selected as the Conservative parliamentary candidate in June 2023 for the newly created Isle of Wight East constituency[4] as part of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies.
In the 2024 United Kingdom general election Robertson was elected to Parliament as MP for Isle of Wight East with 30.6% of the vote and a majority of 3,323.[5]
Personal life
Robertson grew up on the Island and went to school in Ryde.[6] He is a qualified family solicitor.
Robertson lives in St Helens and is married with two children.[7][8]
