the Attacks on Vrnograč,also known as Operartion Vrnograč is series of skirmishes and clashes in area of Vrnograč,Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Bosnian and Inter-Bosnian Muslim War .Series of clashes happened due to ARBiH harm on civilians and NOZB under command of Fikret Abdić had attacked the town and captured it,forcing ARBiH to retreat to Bužim and Bihać.^[1][2][3]

Before 1993,the town was occupied by ARBiH,them massacring civilians who supported the NOZB and destroying houses and infastracture and displacing hundreds of civilians,^{[1] [4]} for around a year it was like this,constant chaos and destruction,ARBiH kept this town under their control,mostly the 5th Corps under General Atif Dudaković controling the area.In mid May Abdić ordered an attack to re-take the small town,starting Operation Vrnograč.^[1][3]

In may,NOZB started raiding the town,fighters starting by taking few houses and a store,coming down day after day and taking more and more,civilians did not escalate,allowing and even helping NOZB into advancing further into the area,it was series of hard fighting,^[5] NOZB without suffering any casaulties,repelled any ARBiH counter offensive on the town,forcing the unit to retreat to Bihać and Bužim,^[1][2][3]In an interview day after the battle Commander of an Brigade Admir Mulalić said that the ARBiH was mistreating the citizens,destroying factories and houses,displacing hundreds and hundreds,after heavy fighting had lost the battle and Vrnograč fell into the hands of NOZB,after reporter asked is the town safe,he said that ARBiH has no remaining ways of again entering Vrnograč and that the village is safe,but that ARBiH still constantly will continue their small shelling over the night,also he said that Abdić will pay to fix the factories and the houses,and will make sure all displaced citizens will safely return to the Town.^[1][2]

Town of Vrnograč had been held by NOZB for long time and had become one of the main strongholds for the small country,^[3]also the Commander Admir Mulalić also said soon enough Autonomous Province of Western Bosnia will become an Republic,^[1] and that day by day they are advancing further together with help of the VRS,but today this was an NOZB,not a VRS one.Later on the town was re-taken after Operation Tiger,but later re-established during Operation Spider.
