HealthString is an international provider of RN Coaching with services based in Chicago, IL. Founded by Liz Pampel Willock and George Willock in 2002, HealthString has grown to offer one of the premier personal health records available.

HealthString was conceived as a consumer driven tool that enables patients and providers to bring order to an otherwise chaotic health care system. The "String" in HealthString is loosely inspired by String Theory whereby scientists search for an underlying explanation that unifies quantam mechanics, particle physics and gravity. Where health care has advanced precipitously in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, more questions have arisen as to how to prevent illness, improve health, and formulate a simple (though highly complex) method for enabling availability of relevant health information for patients' personal health records that are available around the world. HealthString seeks to research and build a solution to address the complexities in health and link patients and their care community in a secure and private way. Our system continually evolves based on user feedback and problem-solving by our members. The HealthString model works in any health system (private, nationalized, socialized, etc.) and is driven primarily by patients. We believe that patients hold the string to new knowledge and actionable behavior change to improve health.
