Brighton is covered by two constituencies in the [[Parliament of the United Kingdom]]: [[Brighton Kemptown (UK Parliament constituency)|Brighton Kemptown]] and [[Brighton Pavilion (UK Parliament constituency)|Brighton Pavilion]]. In the [[2017 United Kingdom general election|2017 general election]], Brighton Kemptown elected the Labour MP [[Lloyd Russell-Moyle]], replacing a [[Conservative Party (UK)|Conservative]] MP; he was re-elected in the [[2019 United Kingdom general election|2019 general election]]. In the [[2010 United Kingdom general election|2010 general election]] Brighton Pavilion elected [[Caroline Lucas]], the first and only [[Green Party of England and Wales|Green Party]] MP; she was re-elected in [[2015 United Kingdom general election|2015]], 2017 and again at the 2019 general election, with an increased majority.
