FAQ

Do I need to configure this plugin or change any settings?

No. All settings are applied automatically once the plugin is activated, but there is now an “Aquila Settings” page to refine these options if you wish to do so.

Can I change the Aquila “eagle” logo to my own company’s logo?

Yes. Go to Settings > Aquila Settings to upload a new logo image. PNGs with a clear background and white foreground work best.

Can I change the colors to my own website’s style?

Yes. Go to Settings > Aquila Settings and click the Color Scheme tab. Here you can choose new colors for the admin area.

Does this plugin make any changes to the website’s front-end?

No. It only changes the admin area, the login page and the admin bar for logged-in users.

I loved the elegant simplicity and the admin bar reinvented. With most items aligned right and the Screen Options and Help Tabs incorporated into the the admin bar, the result is simply brilliant. That said, there’s some code running amok in the plugin, a couple of minutes after I installed it, my debug log file grew 1.5MB, after 20 minutes, it was 50MB… There is a preg_match running non-stop and giving this notice: PHP Deprecated: preg_match(): Passing null to parameter #4 ($flags) of type int is deprecated in /wp-content/plugins/aquila-admin-theme/admin/colour/lessc.inc.php on line 3401

The Dashboard Logo is a very important part of the admin area branding. It’s no bloody use if nothing happens when you try to upload your own logo to replace the default one.

Thanks for design & quality ! The results are far ahead from the “standard dashboard” !! I noticed some lack about color settings part, and some design configuration was replaced by another stuff from another plugin (or simple functionality ?). I found an optimal configuration anyway, and it works really great 😀

I like what I see (pun intended). Yes is definitely a nice admin theme and must-have upgrade to the default backend of WordPress. Aquila is easy to install, simple to configure, clean plugin settings, great customization. Why only 4 stars? Hmm have worked with better Admin themes in the past, but those are now deprecated. Hence why I got onto Aquila and keeping it installed. Lets see what the future holds for this nice plugin.

Al instalarlo, la pagina de plugins perdio el boton de “Añadir”, y desaparecieron los enlaces de “eliminar”. Me ha sido imposible reparar esto. Si no fuera por este error, el plugin sería muy bueno
