Feb 12 at 10:17 comment added Eng Sam @AndrewMorton , I am trying currently to make them 3 connectors and use ribbon cables as this sounds the easiest solution

Feb 10 at 18:16 comment added Andrew Morton @EngSam Could there be just two connectors per board, with two cables, or would it be too difficult to reach in to attach the cables?
Feb 10 at 18:14 comment added Andrew Morton @DavideAndrea Yes, a connector on each board with one cable between them. Although it now appears that a single cable would not suffice due to the connector locations on the PCBs.

Feb 10 at 17:35 comment added Eng Sam @DavideAndrea , I cannot use a cable since some connections are in the middle of the board and cannot be routed to the edge , and managing 20 cables is a mess.
Feb 10 at 17:34 comment added Eng Sam @AndrewMorton , actually there is only 40 connections ( gate - source for transistors ) , but i use 2x2 , since I think this is the smallest size that can hold itself in place in SMD.
Feb 10 at 17:33 comment added Eng Sam @Andyaka , I meant the only option is smd , since IMS cannot have TH components .
Feb 10 at 17:15 comment added Andy aka Why is the only option on one of the PCBs SMD headers?
Feb 10 at 17:14 comment added Davide Andrea "with a cable beween". 80 cables sounds complex and expensive. If you mean a single cable, then there's no longer an issue of alignment.

Feb 10 at 16:43 comment added Andrew Morton Just to be sure, are you saying there is a total of 80 connections? Have you considered using mezzanine connectors with a cable between?
