I have a negative LDO (-5V from -6V5.5V to -20V10V) which requires a tantalum or aluminum capacitor. I'm wondering why it can't use a ceramic capacitor? Is there any specific reason for this?

Regulator is a MIC5270-5.0BM5TC59 (datasheetdatasheet).

(Correction: the regulator I originally gave was stable with ceramics, this one is not.)
