Jul 7, 2022 at 20:27 comment added Reid Thanks! The drivers are supplying 1A, which (from a thermal standpoint) is easily handled by my trace widths according to IPC-2152. Maybe I'm just dumb (remember, I'm a mechanical engineer), but wouldn't the RMS current just be the set point of the drivers? I really tried to make the LED +/- leads as short as possible, but it was a real struggle to get it even as good as it is in this design without having a million vias. Maybe smaller inductors would let me squeeze everything tighter.
