State Partnership Aims to Increase Physical Activity in Chester County

July 3, 2024COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) confirmed that a bat found near Crooked Stick Court and Buremda Run in Summerville, S.C., has tested positive for rabies. No people are known to have been exposed at this time. One dog was exposed and will be quarantined as required in the South Carolina Rabies Control Act.

The IN the Parks App features a free, summer scavenger hunt that encourages children and families to discover featured parks while searching for answers to clues within each park. Participants are encouraged to dress up as a farmer or their favorite farm animal while enjoying activities, games and more at the City of Chester Aquatic and Fitness Center on July 12, 2024 from 9:30 AM - 12 PM.
