Every year 287.000 women die from complications due to pregnancy and giving birth. 99% of these deaths happen in the Developing World.
Maternity Foundation was established in 2005 by six Danish women with the objective to reduce Maternal Mortality in developing countries.

Maternity Foundation has a programmatic approach that ensures sustainability of impact and local build up of compentencies. Our approach is scalable and is built on interventions with proven clinical evidence. The latest intervention is our mobile health application to ensure a broader and stronger impact of our integrated approach.
