The EUDP has granted a total of 207 million DKK to support new energy technologies, and this money will drive innovative projects aimed at advancing sustainable energy solutions.  We are proud to be among the recipients and look forward to leveraging our expertise to develop and demonstrate a system designed to directly capture CO2 from smaller decentralized point sources.     We also look forward to leading this project together with consortium partners GreenFarm™, DTU - Technical University of Denmark, Aalborg University, SINTEF, and Port Esbjerg, focusing on the development and demonstration of a ‘Small-scale carbon capturing system for decentralized CO2 point sources’.   “I commend the EUDP’s choice of projects and initiatives.  We’re pleased to be among those chosen, and considering the acute need for carbon recycling and removal, Welltec is right on pace with its technology to capture stranded biogenic CO2 from the agricultural segment,” says Peter Hansen – Welltec CEO.    “This grant from the EUDP is an important steppingstone for our team! It's been an interesting last few months at Welltec! We've expanded our intervention solutions with the latest addition to our downhole fishing portfolio, ensuring even more precision during operations. We've also stood strong in protecting our innovations, winning a significant IP infringement case. Furthermore, following the part acquisition of Innowell back in April, members of our Completions team (pictured) spent last week mapping out the integration of this technology and much more during their annual technology seminar at HQ in Denmark.
