🎉 The awesome ~2,500 Team Rynkeby riders arrived at their destination this Saturday 🎉 After a week of biking through Europe they rolled into Paris and met up at the yellow-dressed Velodrome Jacques Anquetil where friend, fans and family were gathered to welcome them 💛 Representatives from three of "our" teams (Team Rynkeby Göteborg, Team Rynkeby Midt-Vest and Team Rynkeby Søhøjlandet) even managed to find each other in the jumble and pose for a shot. 🎗️𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 🎗️ On their way to Paris the riders battled steep hills, heavy rain and sore legs to fulfil their selfless mission: collect funds for critically ill children and their families. Current status for whole Team Rynkeby is more than EUR 8.600.000👏 The donations will go to local NGO's such as Barncancerfonden, Børnecancerfonden, Lungeforeningen and Barnekreftforeningen. While Init's Platinum sponsorship is (luckily) only a fraction of the entire amount, we are proud to contribute just a little to this important cause. 👀 Eyes fixed on Paris! 👀 Today, 66 Rynkeby teams embark on the trip to the French capital! After months of rigorous training, the big day has arrived for the awesome Team Rynkeby riders. The Team Rynkeby teams are getting ready for a warm trip to Paris! ☀ If you're a new follower, let's get you up to speed: Init are Platinum Sponsors for Team Rynkeby this year. It makes perfect sense for us here at Init to support a mission with social responsibility, teamwork and health in focus 💚 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬 The Team Rynkeby teams are now in the last phase of training, before they set course for Paris on Saturday! 🚵♀️ Here it's Team Rynkeby Midt-Vest who takes a well-deserved break on one of their joint training trips. In the front, you see team captain, Anders Søndergaard, and local team coach, Johnny Sand Frandsen, who also just happen to be our colleague. If you think the riders look a bit sweaty, it's because they had already covered 100 km by the time they made it to the photo spot: Init's Silkeborg office 🚲 🥵 In total, they did 185 kilometres in one day - which is "personal" team record 🙌 Well done, team Midt-Vest! 💪 #teamrynkeby #charity #initforagoodcause

One of them is Johnny Sand Frandsen🚴♂️ Johnny Sand Frandsen is all about motivating his team and encouraging people to work together to reach the best results. And he does that both in his role as department and project manager for Init's Troldhede team and in his role as coach for Team Rynkeby Midt-Vest 🙌 It's Johnny's fourth year as a Team Rynkeby rider, but his third trip to Paris as the 2021 tour was cancelled due to Corona❌ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐲𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐛𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞? In 2020, the Paris tour was cancelled due to Corona and some of the Danish riders did a Denmark tour instead. I knew two of the riders from the local community in the city where we live. My wife and I did a lot of mountain biking together, and it was actually my wife who raised the idea of joining Team Rynkeby💡 It seemed like the perfect way to combine exercise and spending time together and at the same time support a good cause, helping children with critical illnesses. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐲𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐛𝐲? 🚲 It gives me a lot personally to be part of Team Rynkeby. It's the perfect mix of socialising, exercising and doing good. As a bonus, you build a great network. In fact, we still hang out with some of our previous team mates. For my wife and I, it's also just a great way to spend time together and create new experiences together✨ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐲𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐭-𝐕𝐞𝐬𝐭? The entire Midt-Vest team comprises about 50 riders. We are dispersed from Thisted to Skjern, so we are split into local training groups. I'm coach for my local group of 10 riders. I plan out the weekly training trips. When we have joint trainings with the entire team, I'm the Lieutenant, which means I carry a radio, so we can communicate about e.g. traffic or terrain 🚧 Right now, I'm planning our trip down Europe. I am trying to find the optimal route between the different layovers we have on our way to Paris. 🌊 På trods af manglende vind, gik bølgerne højt til dette års Init Business Cup 🌊 Init Business Cup (tidligere kendt som Picca Business Cup) har siden 2008 dannet ramme for god stemning, konkurrence og masser af spænding - og i år var ingen undtagelse! Otte hold af hver fire besætningsmedlemmer kæmpede om de eftertragtede pladser på podiet. 🥇 Det var mandskabet fra KT Erhvervsbyg A/S, der med tidligere OL-sejler, Anette Viborg, som kaptajn, hev årets trofæ hjem 🏆 🥈Vinderholdet var skarpt forfulgt at besætningen fra revisionsfirmaet Roesgaard med det unge sejltalent Johan Schubert i spidsen. 🥉 Tredjepladsen blev snuppet af ét af Init Danmarks egne to hold. Fra Init skal der lyde et kæmpestort tak til alle deltagerne samt til Horsens Sejlklup for en fantastisk kapsejlads.
