Join us in creating a world where everyone has access to quality education & decent jobs

Om os

Globally, 115 million children are illiterate and 767 million people live below the poverty line as defined by the UN. In consequence, a great number of young people from developing countries are lured to foreign countries where they often end up working under inhuman conditions. Many never return home. This is the vicious circle that Human Practice Foundation is determined to break. You can join us in creating a virtuous circle by providing quality education to all. Everyone should have acces to a quality education and the opportunity to learn to read, write and gain mathematical problem-solving skills. Without these basic skills, getting a decent job or even starting a business are unobtainable dreams. Education is the first step into a virtuous circle and the second is creating job opportunities - we are committed to both. Employment allows people to contribute to the family household, the community and society in general. Likewise, financial stability makes it much easier for the next generation to attend school. All of this helps secure long-term economic growth and build a virtuous circle. We have a special approach to human aid work – an approach that builds on our strong commercial background. We ensure maximum impact for every crown invested. In fact, 100% of your donation goes directly to project work. This is possible because a group of Founding Fathers independently sponsors all of the administration costs of our projects. Our operations are effective and focus on results. We are driven by compassion and dedication to our work. Some describe it as a fire that burns until we break the vicious circle. Our vow is to turn things around, to make life better for those most in need. The more schools and the more jobs we create the greater the chances are for more young people to rise out of poverty and change their path. We ask you to join us on the journey towards a decent future for the next generation of the world’s poorest.

  • 👏 Celebrating Incredible Educators 👏 Teachers play an important role in our schools and community. Their unwavering commitment to educating and inspiring our learners is nothing short of extraordinary. From nurturing young minds to fostering a love of learning, our teachers play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our communities. Their passion and perseverance drive positive change, empowering students to reach their full potential 🚀 Meet Teacher Ann Muthoni! “My name is Ann Muthoni. I am a grade 3 class teacher at Olotasha Primary School. I love teaching young learners because it gives me hope for a greater future. Since HPF came to our school, I have seen great improvement in our students. For example, my grade 3 students' concentration levels have improved because the classrooms are well-built and renovated, and the students have desks to sit on. I am a happy teacher, and each day I look forward to coming to class. This year, I am planning to engage my students more in practical subjects such as arts and crafts and physical education.” To all the amazing educators in our schools, thank you for your invaluable contributions. Your impact goes beyond the classroom and will be felt for generations to come. #HumanPracticeFoundation #TeacherAppreciation #Education #CommunityImpact #Inspiration #FutureLeaders

  • 🌱 Empowering Youth Prosperity through Coffee Farming 🌿 Introducing Dil Kumar Patangwa, a 30-year-old from Khejenim village who has embarked on a transformative journey with the Human Practice Foundation's coffee project. In 2022, Dil Kumar transitioned from conventional farming to becoming a thriving coffee farmer. Key Milestones 🎯 - Successfully cultivated 2000 two-year-old coffee plants. - Introduced 500 orange trees as shade providers for optimal growth. - Anticipated revenue projection of USD $11,240 by 2025. Through comprehensive training provided by our esteemed partner CPF, Dil Kumar has taken on the role of Chairman at the Phanktanglung Coffee Farmer Group. He is currently preparing his land for planting over 3000 additional coffee plants. • We are deeply grateful for the milestones reached in our journey at Human Practice Foundation 🙌 Reflecting on the incredible collective effort, we are amazed by the support we've received in helping children in need with education and new opportunities. To date, we have managed to help more than 45,000 children in Nepal 🇳🇵, Kenya 🇰🇪 and Denmark 🇩🇰 through over 115 school building and education projects. Our learning and economic empowerment initiatives have supported more than 1000 teachers and 1700 farmers, empowering the local communities around our school projects. At the same time, we have built strong execution teams on the ground in Nepal, Kenya, and Denmark. We have navigated the exciting stage of bringing life to an idea at our seed stage and taken the dream to growth. Now, we are approaching our next opportunity – scaling our model to help thousands more children. This new phase will undoubtedly be demanding and exciting, requiring significant change and willpower. We are very grateful to have our new Danish board in place with Mads Ditlevsen chairing, and four new board members: Charlotte Dohm, Joergen Raguse, Henning Jakobsen, and Martin André Dittmer, with Martin Kring and our CEO, Pernille Kruse Madsen, continuing their role on the board. A genuine thank you to Allan Polack for chairing the board for the last three years and for your invaluable experience and support. We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Pernille Foss for being a consistent and strong force on our board for the last 10 years. We look forward to this next chapter and the many lives we will impact together. #HumanPracticeFoundation #EducationForAll #Empowerment #CommunityImpact #Gratitude

  • 🌾 Learners Visit Agriculture Show in Meru County, Kenya 🌾 Last week, our 4K Club students from Gakando, Kiborione, and Mburugiti primary schools had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Show in Meru County. This year's theme was "Promoting Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth." The students gained valuable skills in enhancing agricultural productivity, adapting to climate change, driving innovation, and advancing environmental conservation. These skills align perfectly with HPF's goal of transforming our schools into centers of excellence. By engaging young farmers in such events, we nurture the next generation of agricultural leaders, equipping them with the knowledge and abilities necessary to implement sustainable practices. The students were enthusiastic and grateful for the opportunity to learn and network, marking a significant step in their agricultural education. A big thank you to our donors, Honore Foundation, for supporting our agriculture project. #HumanPracticeFoundation #AgricultureEducation #SustainableFarming #4KClub #ASKShow #MeruCounty #FutureFarmers

  • 🌟 Exciting Developments at Ololomei Primary and Junior School, Narok County, Kenya! 🌟 In less than 14 months, Ololomei Primary and Junior School has undergone a remarkable transformation. With the support of Human Practice Foundation, the school now boasts a brand-new block with spacious, well-equipped classrooms, an administration block with a staffroom, and offices for the headteacher and deputy headteacher. Additionally, a newly equipped library serves as a resource center offering digital services like image projection and supports digital literacy using tablets loaded with educational materials. The school feeding program has significantly enhanced retention and increased enrollment to 512 learners. Mr. Walter Omondi, a language teacher, shares his experience: "My name is Walter Omondi, a teacher at Ololomei Primary and Junior School in the Maasai Mara region of Kenya. Ololomei is a school largely funded by the HPF. There have been immense and overwhelmingly positive changes over the last one and a half years. The new block with spacious, well-equipped classrooms, the administration block with a staffroom, and the headteacher and deputy headteacher offices have all been incredible additions. We now actively hold library lessons on Tuesdays and Fridays. Learners love the comfortable seats that promote relaxation and learning. Many of our learners had never seen a library before, and with the library provided by HPF, learning has become interesting and easy. The library has influenced some learners from nearby schools to transfer to our school. Enrollment has increased, and learners have become more serious about reading storybooks than ever before. We look forward to achieving greatness together." Special thanks to our donor Joergen Raguse for your kind and generous support! #HumanPracticeFoundation #EducationTransformation #OlolomeiSchool #DigitalLiteracy #CommunityImpact
