Looking to grow your business by hiring international employees? International employees can be a fantastic asset as diversity increases innovation and growth possibilities. However, properly integrating internationals can be challenging as there are many matters to keep in mind: cultural differences, inclusion, and language, to name a few. That’s why an integrated part of our work at Copenhagen Capacity is helping companies in their onboarding process. 🤝 In a recent project, "Onboard Denmark" we developed several tools for successfully integrating international employees. The tools are free and can function as a go-to partner in the onboarding process. If you are curious to know more about how we can assist your company, reach out to Marianne Danling at mld@copcap.com. Or read more here: https://hubs.ly/Q02FdcWv0

Folkemødet, Denmark’s biggest democratic festival, took place last week. And, of course, we were there too. 🙌 Every year, both citizens and decision-makers gather on the Danish Island of Bornholm to engage in debates, cultural events, and workshops and to attend presentations and speeches. This year, Copenhagen Capacity facilitated panel discussions focusing on Denmark’s shortage of qualified labour. Our work to attract international labour received significant support. We want to thank all the participants in our debates and everyone who listened and asked us good questions. Photo credit: Pelle Rink

Earlier this week, EU citizens exercised their democratic right to vote for representatives in the European Parliament! 🇪🇺 🎉 In Denmark, the majority of the electorate voted for green parties, giving a strong mandate for sustainability policies. 🌍 Comparing the results with other EU countries, this shows that the green agenda is particularly important to us here in Denmark. 📷 Bo Amstrup/Ritzau Scanpix | Enthusiasm at the Danish left-wing/green party "SF" headquarters over the election results.

Today marks the 175th anniversary of the Constitution of Denmark. The Constitution, known as "Grundloven" includes fundamental rights such as freedom of speech and equality. Danish politics are founded on democracy and consensus. The majority of laws result from collaboration among the fifteen parties across the political spectrum. For over a hundred years, no single party has had enough representatives to govern alone. ⚖️ We really value a collaborative mindset in our businesses too, where there are no strict hierarchies. We believe it fosters a positive and inclusive work environment. How do you feel about that? 📸 Christiansborg—the Danish government castle.
