Over the next six years, we’ll leverage our world-renowned audio tuning and sound design capabilities to bring “Audio by Bang & Olufsen” to TCL's premium and high-end TV portfolio. The new agreement has the potential to become one of Bang & Olufsen’s most impactful licensing partnerships ever and is key when it comes to our strategic ambitions. “This is a partnership with great global potential for both brands.     We have announced our full-year numbers and we are pleased to report that we delivered an all-time high gross margin and the best EBIT margin before special items in six years, despite a decline in revenue.   We have built a stronger company and financial foundation and we can see that our strategy is working. As such, we want to accelerate our strategy execution and have presented a plan to do so while also setting medium-term growth targets. To achieve these targets and realise our mid-term plan, we require investments and we are looking to get a capital increase of up to 20% of our share capital approved at our Annual General Meeting in August.   Our CEO Kristian Teär, B&O, said the following about our financial performance and plans for the future:   “We have made good progress with our strategy despite a challenging market environment. We’ve delivered a historic high gross margin, and our EBIT margin is the best in over half a decade. We want to build on that momentum and further accelerate our strategic execution to capture the market potential we see.     We look back proudly on a week in which our Director of Product Circularity and Portfolio Planning, Mads Kogsgaard Hansen delivered one of the opening keynote speeches at The Electronics Goes Green 2024 congress in Berlin.   A key electronics and sustainability conference, Electronics Goes Green gathered researchers, policy makers and industry stakeholders to discuss topics such as sustainable product design, lifecycle assessments, circular economics, recycling, and e-waste management. We were happy to share our vision and ambitions within product circularity, demonstrating that long-lasting electronics, designed for a second life, are indeed possible.     We are proud to introduce the Beosound A9 Cacophonia – the result of an artistic collaboration with musician and visual artist, Kasper Eistrup. The Beosound A9 was designed by Øivind Slaatto in 2012 and since its 10-year anniversary, we have celebrated the iconic speaker by allowing artists to create works on its front facade. Now the time has come to write the Danish chapter in the Beosound A9 story.
