About Our Students

Gender

Here, 118 students identify as women and 84 identify as men — 58% and 42%, respectively.

Race & Ethnicity

At Dell Med, 34% of students identify as white; 33% identify as Asian; 16.5% identify as Hispanic, Latina/o/x or of Spanish origin; 7.5% identify as Black; and 4% identify as multiple races or ethnicities.

At Dell Med, 95% of students are Texas residents (state law requires 90%).

Our Graduates

Students graduating from Dell Med in 2023 matched to residency training programs in 13 states. Training sites include Mayo Clinic, Duke, Vanderbilt, Baylor College of Medicine and the University of California, San Francisco.

Since 2020, 51% of graduates have remained in Texas for residency, with 17% remaining in Austin.
