‘The Bikeriders’ Comes to Digital, But When Will ‘The Bikeriders’ Be Streaming on Peacock?

The Bikeriders is coming to digital platforms to buy and rent tomorrow, just after two weeks after the 2024 movie opened in theaters.

Written and directed by Jeff Nichols, The Bikeriders is loosely based on the true story of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club. Jodie Comer stars as a midwestern, ’60s woman named Kathy, who speaks to a reporter (played by Challengers star Mike Faist) about her love affair with the roguish bad boy, Benny Cross (Austin Butler), a member of the fictional, Chicago-based Vandals Motorcycle Club. Kathy recounts their wild life on the road, and all the drama that came with their outlaw lifestyle.

The Bikeriders was well-received by critics and has earned about $29.5 million at the worldwide box office so far—not yet earning back its reported $30 to $40 million production budget. But even if the film had been a box office smash, most big Universal movies—including Night Swim, Monkey Man, and The Fall Guy—have all hit digital after just over two weeks in theaters. The Bikeriders—which was released by Focus Features, a subsidiary of Universal Pictures—will not be an exception. That means you can also expect The Bikeriders to stream on Peacock, the Universal-owned streamer, in the near future.

The Bikeriders will be available to rent on digital platforms like Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Vudu, and more, beginning on July 9. The movie will cost $19.99 to rent, and you’ll have 48 hours to watch the movie after hitting “play.”

When will The Bikeriders be streaming on Peacock?

The Bikeriders streaming release date on Peacock has not yet been announced, but we know that The Bikeriders will stream on Peacock eventually because it is a Universal movie, and Peacock is the streaming service owned by Universal. All the new Universal theatrical movies end up streaming on Peacock, though the wait period has varied by title.

Another Universal release, Monkey Man, was also pushed to VOD after just over two weeks in theaters, and it began streaming on Peacock on June 14—about three months after opening in theaters, and about seven weeks after releasing on digital.
