#YouEqualTech Germany is a community and series of events aiming to drive inclusion in the tech industry by providing safe, fun opportunities for people to learn, connect and support one another. Launched in the UK after seven years in the of research on gender diversity in tech, between Mortimer Spinks and ComputerWeekly, #YouEqualTech appreciates diversity in all its forms. NOW we are happy to bring this movement to Germany! Whether you’re working in tech already, or are thinking about making the move #YouEqualTech Germany is for you. We aim to: • Myth-bust outdated ideas of what a career in tech or digital looks like • Spread awareness of the various routes into technology and digital as a career • Help close the skills gap through the promotion of inclusion in tech We focus on bringing brilliant people together to share stories and experiences of success and failure - as well as practical, actionable advice and career hacks. It’s super important to us that everyone feels welcome in the #YouEqualTech Germany Community!
