For over two decades i had the pleasure to be working with you, Beat, and transforming our business relationship into a trusting and deep partnership that resultet in a great number of hotels and a great hotel portfolio as a whole. You represented the values of SV Group and also were entrepreneurial enough to move the goal post meaningfully. It was always a pleasure and I know you will leave a tidy house for Marco and we look forward to continue our trusting relationship with him amd his team. Thank you Beat, for everything.

Lieber Beat, was denn…., jetzt schon? Zugegeben, die Jahre vergehen im Flug, wenn man rege ist und ein Unternehmen aufbaut. Du hast das einfach brilliant hinbekommen und ich habe es sehr geschätzt, Dich und Dein Team als ‚friendly competitor‘ begleiten zu können. Wenn Du jetzt den Fokus Deines Lebens auf andere schöne Dinge lenken kannst, gratuliere ich Dir aufrichtig zu Deinem Schritt - er kann kaum zu früh gemacht werden! Life is beautiful! 2009 Lehman brother’s, hotel investment and long stay where an unknown „creature“ for German Banks and developers…. Thanks to a brilliant idea of Markus, Beat, high compative lawyer teams and the support of HVS London the Munich Developer and the Bank could be convinced to go for it … the first dual brand Courtyard and Residence Inn (last one the first outside the US) was born. A tea time with Bill Marriott in London concluded the deal in those very uncertain times. From that moment an exceptional journey SV under the lead of Beat went into the year 2024…. Yes Peter has the wright words …. You can not start soon enough with the other side of the bright life. Go for it Beat whatever it is!
