In Germany, we're known as the land of industry and craftsmanship. In our shipyards, there's a tradition of breaking a bottle of champagne when a new ship 🚢 is launched. Once the bottle smashes against the hull, the vessel is christened. 🥂 Although we don't build ships, but valves, we share the same tradition of technological advancement and precision engineering. In addition, we're currently constructing a new factory 🏭. After months of soil remediation ♻️, structural construction has finally begun. True to the old German saying, “Man muss die Feste feiern wie sie fallen,” or "One should celebrate when the time is right," we gathered for a barbecue directly on the construction site. Instead of champagne, 🍾 we presented our construction site manager, Benjamin Hemmeter from KLEBL GmbH with a bottle of wine. Since our project already has a name – MainChange – he didn't have to smash it against the concrete pillars which were put up on that very special day for our company. We hope he will keep it safe until the first building is completed at the end of the year 😜.
