Transdev Group is looking for a V.I.E* Junior Manager Innovation to be based in Berlin in Germany.

In Germany from 1998, Transdev is the leading private rail passenger’s operator and has helped to revitalize certain regions by deploying services that are better adapted to passengers’ needs. We operate 20 Operation & Maintenance contracts, totalizing 55 million train km for 118 million passengers per year. The fleet is composed of 472 trainsets.

Responsibilities

Transdev Germany wants to enhance the innovative capability of its own and of the global Transdev Group. Therefore, we aim to develop new services, which Transdev does not have so far. To fulfil this objective, we are looking for an encouraged and inspiring Junior Manager Innovation.

The main tasks as a Junior Innovation Manager will be:

• To monitor the market for technological developments
• To assess the potential implementation of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• To analyze upcoming innovations if they are a risk or chance for Transdev business models.
• To support the implementation of Proof-of-Case (POC) projects
• To support the management on its way to an innovative culture
• To link with start-ups, universities, and other innovation platforms
• To design (potential) business plans for innovative services
  
  

Required Education And Experience

• University degree or dedicated work experience in innovation (e.g. at start-ups, big companies, as founder)
• IT background would be an advantage.
  
  

Skills

• Capacity to monitor and analyze market trends in technological advancements relevant to the transportation industry.
• Ability to evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of implementing new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Proficiency in assessing whether upcoming innovations pose risks or opportunities to Transdev's business models.
• Ensuring successful execution and delivery of projects.
• Capability to assist in fostering an innovative culture within the organization, promoting creativity and collaboration.
• Aptitude for building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including start-ups and universities, to facilitate collaboration and access to new ideas.
• Proficiency in developing business plans for innovative services, including market analysis and financial projections.
• Analytical skills to make informed decisions regarding innovation opportunities.

• English full proficiency is required. (B2 Level)
• German A2/ B1 is required.
