Vice President Sales & Project Management

Our client is a leading automotive locking system supplier. The organisation operates on a global level and is seeking an experienced VP of Sales/Project Management to join their team in Germany.


You will play a crucial role in driving growth and managing sales initiatives.


Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop a group of up-and-coming business leaders in the company.
  • Foster an environment where the account teams are committed to quality and have high aspirations for success.
  • Play a key role in developing the company's strategic direction, building customer relationships, and accelerating sales growth in order to achieve long-term success in a cutthroat industry.
  • Keep an eye on forecasting, budgeting, and reporting related to sales operations to make sure they are in line with business goals and financial targets.
  • In order to increase productivity and streamline operations, implement systems, tools, and sales procedures.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, product development, marketing, and other divisions.
  • Coordinate sales initiatives with product offers, client demands, and industry developments.
  • Maintain efficient teamwork and communication to promote integrated business solutions.
  • Track sales results against goals, KPIs, and industry standards to find areas for development and take appropriate corrective action when necessary.


Requirements for Project Management:

  • Oversee the centralization of operations and processes across the group of companies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and standards.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to drive the implementation of centralized systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution and achievement of project goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost savings through centralized operations.


Your Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a similar discipline; an MBA is desirable.
  • A track record of accomplishment in project management and sales leadership positions in the automotive sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of production procedures, precision engineering, and automotive component technology.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements across several business divisions and centralising processes.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, negotiating, and communication abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the capacity to create and implement successful project management and sales strategies.
  • Excellent team-building and leadership skills with an emphasis on maximising performance and attaining goals.
  • Have an upbeat and welcoming manner, take on a hands-on leadership role, and be skilled at coaching and mentoring team members.
