⚡ Role: System Engineer

What to expect:

  • Team Collaboration: Work with diverse teams to understand motor systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software components in aerospace.
  • Requirements Definition: Establish system-level requirements in line with aerospace standards and customer needs.
  • Testing and Validation: Lead testing activities, including planning, execution, and data analysis, to ensure performance and safety.
  • Supplier Management: Coordinate with external suppliers to develop and integrate motor components, meeting program and quality standards.
  • Document Review: Review supplier documents such as specifications, design descriptions, and test procedures.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and solve system-level issues using sound engineering practices.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance system engineering processes and tools for motor systems in aerospace.
  • Industry Updates: Stay current with aerospace standards, regulations, and best practices to improve motor system development.


What we are seeking:

  • Degree: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years in aerospace system engineering, particularly motor development.
  • Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with aerospace standards (e.g., ARP4754A) and motor systems.
  • Testing Experience: Background in verification and validation for safety-critical systems.
  • Supplier Coordination: Experience managing external suppliers and meeting program requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of electronics and embedded software for motor systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational Ability: Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Language: Proficiency in English.


Preferred:

  • Motor Design: Experience in electrical and mechanical motor design and analysis.
  • Systems Engineering: Knowledge of model-based systems engineering methodologies and tools.
  • Hardware Standards: Understanding of aerospace hardware standards like DO-178 and DO-254.
  • Safety Assessment: Familiarity with FMEA and FTA methodologies.
  • Management Tools: Proficiency with requirements management (e.g., DOORS) and configuration management tools.
  • Integration and Testing: Experience with system-level integration and testing for aircraft motor systems.
