Senior Supply Chain Manager

The Senior Supply Chain Manager at DCUBED is tasked with ensuring operational excellence within the company's supply chain functions, while also establishing a strong foundation for future growth and addressing upcoming challenges related to import and export

• Logistics:
• Technical and disciplinary management of incoming goods, warehousing, on-time production supply and shipping to ensure smooth processes
• Oversee internal and external logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of product
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the flow of goods and materials.
• Coordination of external logistics service providers as well as drafting and negotiating framework and individual contracts with the aim of optimising costs
• Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, and distribution.
• Implement and maintain logistics technology systems to improve operational efficiency and visibility
• Procurement:
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and policies.
• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and services.
• Negotiate contracts, terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Supply Chain:
• Budget management, reporting and planning of investment decisions
• Communication and cooperation with management, sales and production
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and internal regulations
• Maintaining and expanding successful business relationships with customers and service providers
• Promoting a culture of innovation within the supply chain department
  

Here is what you bring to the table

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Several years of professional experience in logistics
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role in a relevant industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and supplier management principles and practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication skills and confident, confident appearance as well as a transformative leadership
• Many years of experience in supporting customers and business partners
• Excellent analytical skills and in-depth understanding of processes
• Structured, goal-oriented and independent way of working
• Business fluent German and English skills
• Willingness to shape and build up a section in a highly dynamic innovative startup environment
