Senior Specialist Simulation (CAE) Engineering (m/f/d)

Areas of responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate dynamic CAE activities for child seats, wheel, and sports goods developed in Europe
• Define processes, material models, and best practices for CAE in product development
• Investigate module-level testing processes and perform static simulations to ensure product integrity and safety
• Collaborate closely with crash test and engineering departments in Bayreuth and Vienna
• Optimize structures and material selection with respect to performance, cost, and weight
• Establish new simulation environments and correlate them with internal and external crash test results
• Provide expertise in fatigue and damage tolerance calculations to support product development and testing
• Utilize FEM and MBD methodologies along with simulation software tools such as HyperWorks, Animator, LS PrePost, LS-DYNA, and Radioss to conduct analyses and simulations
  
  
  
  

Your profile of qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with specific experience in fatigue and damage tolerance calculations
• Proficiency in FEM and MBD methodologies and experience with simulation software tools like HyperWorks, Animator, LS PrePost, LS-DYNA, and Radioss
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in CAE, with experience in crash testing, child safety, or wheel goods being a plus
• Proven ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
• Strong analytical thinking, reliability, and resilience in a fast-paced environment are essential
• Willingness to travel (10%)
