Senior Project Planner (a)

We are looking for a senior professional in project planning and delay analyses. In this role you are involved in the scheduling, monitoring and controlling of our projects. You are in charge of the preparation, assessment and negotiation of extension of time claims using retrospective delay analyses techniques. Moreover, you are also responsible for the preparation and assessment of dispute resolution negotiations in connection with deadline extensions and delays.

You can expect these challenges:

• Establish a new team and manage it professionally and disciplinary
• Develop a scope baseline from contract draft and bid documents during the planning phase
• Prepare prospective and retrospective delay analyses across a wide variety of running and completed projects
• Prepare, explain and defend claims throughout the whole process of arbitration
• Prepare EOT claims with different internationally accepted methods, including preparation and implementation of critical path delay analyses
• Critically investigate project delays as well as programme critiques and delay analyses assessments
• Preparation the extension of time independently with the liaising of the third party
• Formulation of fact-finding, detailed analyses and quantification of delay and damages
• Work with the site and technical team and determining events for claim issues
• Demonstrate delays occuring because of disruption/loss of efficiency
• Prepare programmes for new construction projects, monitor and resequence existing programmes to ensure work are completed as quickly and efficiently as possible
• Prepare written reports for use in negotiation, as well as formal dispute resolution processes
• Prepare and defend the extension of time claims on behalf of employers, main contractors and subcontractors

You will inspire us with this:

• University degree in contract management, contract law or a related field
• Long-term (10 years or more) professional experience in a similar role
• Primavera P6 certificate above intermediate level
• Excellent communication skills, with strong abilities to work in a team
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals
• Ability to grow a team around you
• Good German and fluent English skills
