Summary Of The Role
Global Product Management Bag in Box, together with its process partners, develops world-class innovative products and services to ensure SIG’s future growth.
The goal of the position is to manage both successful portfolio deployment and new product development, working closely with R&D and technical organizations as well as with regional marketing organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for managing his/her product(s) life cycle all the way from the strategic planning to tactical initiatives.
Define his/her product line(s) strategy, inline with Global Product Management and Global Technology vision, influence acceptance and adoption of that strategy across the organization.
Lead the development of new products including the definition of market requirements and of the scope of product innovation projects.
Work with Cluster marketing organizations to develop go-to-market plans and ensure a successful portfolio deployment.
Shadow P&L responsibility i.e.: supporting clusters in achieving their P&L targets including the achievement of the business case related targets connected to a new product deployment
Must possess a blend of business and technical savvy.
Go to person in case of any questions or concerns, redirect to the respective Team Member if needed.
Mentor other product managers within the team work cross-functionally with the R&D, engineering, cluster marketing, sales, and other departments, developing strong relationships between all these departments that allow for the smooth and efficient flow of product activities and the establishment of trust with crucial process partners.
Generate showcases, visibility in press and trade shows, customer presentations and sales material, website content in close collaboration with Global Marketing brand and communication, and corporate communication.
The Senior Product Manager also performs other duties as required by the Head of Product Management or the Employer. For example, attending tradeshows and representing the business and its product.
You Bring These Skills, Experience & Education
Education: master’s degree in business administration, international education preferred, ideally with strong technical background. Engineering degree is an added benefit.
Experience: More than 8 years of technical experience.
Senior working experience in strategic functions, profound international working experience, experience in Project and / or Program Management, experience in Sales and Business Development, experience in FMCG, food / beverage related industry beneficial. Technical background is desirable.
