Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a passionate Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop and launch innovative mechatronic solutions and create novel mechatronic systems. Responsibilities include developing concepts for drive trains, concepts for our in-house build sensors, and designing them.

Our ideal candidates are familiar with CAD development, interest in sensor development, running experiments and preparing data. Ultimately, the role of the Mechanical Engineer is to build high-quality, rigorous, innovative and fully performing mechatronics systems.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Conceptual and CAD design of drive trains for our product
• Designing sensors to measure forces/torques
• Product development of this systems to bring it to the market
• Documentation including assembly instructions for third party production
• Working closely with our industrial design engineer
• Development of a new iteration of the whole system
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Mechatronics field
• +5 years of industrial experience
• Experience in design for manufacturing
• Experience in design for high volume production
• Experience in CAD tools like Onshape or SolidWorks
• FEA simulations to develop F/T sensors
• Ability to work in a team
• Self-motivated, highly-driven, independent, and results-oriented
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
