Senior HR Manager

An excellent career opportunity for a Senior HR Manager to join a leading MNC that provides technology to measure and protect water quality for people and companies around the world.

This will suit a dynamic, Senior HR Manager/Senior HRBP (proficient English & fluent German) and inspirational leader who excels in fast-paced, KPI-focused, large international company environments.

The Opportunity

Based 3-4 days a week at our Berlin Zehlendorf site and reporting to a Senior HR Director in the US, the Senior HR Manager is responsible for the short and long-term strategic leadership of all aspects of HR within a vibrant Operations/Manufacturing function for approx. 550 associates.

The jobholder will lead a local HR team of 3 business partners/generalists (and collaborate with our HR Service Centre), advise, counsel, and partner site leadership on all aspects of human resources, challenge the status quo, champion new initiatives, be a catalyst of change, and continuously develop talent and drive improved performance.

This role is part of the Hach’s large Global HR Team and combines local and global HR projects and initiatives to enhance our ongoing growth opportunities and business objectives.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree and HR Business Partner/HR Manager experience with a solid track record of successfully executing HR programs and initiatives in metrics driven, high growth, rapidly changing environments, (ideally manufacturing/operations/distribution)
• Strong HR team leadership with a focus on talent development, mentoring, and coaching
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills (fluent German and proficient written & spoken English languages)
• Keen problem solver and a proactive, positive, and energetic approach to work
• Data focused and strong technical aptitude (HR People System, Workday, Power BI, data analysis, etc.)
• Attention to detail; process & compliance-oriented but understands and is flexible to navigate grey areas
