We are looking for a Senior Executive Assistant, based in Munich.
Your Team
Our team represents a global function, covering, among others, insurance operations, IT, Transformation, and Security for Allianz Commercial. We're committed to delivering success for our immediate teams as well as the wider Allianz network. Working together helps set the benchmark, delivering consistent strong results through turbulent market cycles.
Your direct team will be located globally, predominantly in Germany, but you'll be working with Operations teams across the world. We're a culturally diverse team focused on developing people, delivering on our ESG commitments, and driving actionable change across the industry.We're looking for those keen to drive themselves and others at pace to achieve market leading results.
The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Allianz Commercial, and working with the existing COO Office team you will join the team as an Executive Assistant. Contributing to key projects within the company, you will be personally and professionally challenged through direct participation in decision-making processes and proximity to decision-makers. The role is multifaceted and involves wearing several hats to ensure that a wide variety of tasks are accomplished. It offers the unique opportunity for fast-track personal development.

Some Of Your Specific Responsibilities Could Include
- Independently and actively support the Chief Operating Officer and the COO team
- Support oversight and direction for both COO strategic topics, AZ Commercial, and BMP Commercial
- Steer challenging projects and support COO to achieve delivery outcomes
- Steer regular team and function meeting preparation and follow-ups, including pre-screening and challenging of documents, preparation of the Operations contribution, and follow-up of actions
- Prepare and follow up of meetings and events where the Chief Operating Officer is involved, including events within Allianz Group, worker's council meetings, client meetings, and internal meetings with other Global Heads.
- Be an interface between the COO and the rest of the COO, as well as drive COO contributions to Allianz Commercial deliverables
- Support COO with Community Engagements across COO ELT, COO Community, BMP Community, GRACE and Sustainability
- Steer and coordinate strategic projects, initiatives, and workstreams and participate in content-related topics including Allianz Commercial
- Obtain and analyze key business data, supporting decision-making across COO, driving Project initiatives and steering/planning cycles
- At least 2-5 years of experience in the insurance sector in areas such as business administration, project management, operations
- Proven experience analyzing complex information and drawing appropriate conclusions
- Positive and solution-oriented attitude in challenging environment
- Ideally be familiar with Allianz Commercial and our stakeholders to represent the COO
- Good project management skills: initiating, planning, and managing projects with regard to time, budget, quality, scope, and resources
- Excellent communicator to a variety of stakeholders including senior management; clearly and effectively expressing messages in various formats; able to effectively convey messages visually
- Excellent prioritization skills: Ability to filter information, effectively use of own resources, and handling of competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Master coordinator of managing across a complex suite of topics - including regular checkpoints of SD, PD, OpsIT, and conferences, as well as regular updates on major goals
- Excellence with PowerPoint and other MS Office capabilities
- Experience in working with intercultural teams in an international and dynamic environment
- Fluent in English as a must, any other language advantageous
