Lead our EHS team and ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
Advise plant management effectively on legislation and safety culture.
Evolve our EHS systems and implement innovative security programs.
Have the responsibility of being the Chief Health and Safety Officer.
Coordinate safety-related activities and strengthen our fire prevention concept.
Be the main point of contact for authorities and partners on EHS issues.
Promote a zero-tolerance culture when it comes to occupational safety and environmental protection.
Lead key EHS audits and develop actions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
University degree or equivalent degree in the field of technology, process engineering or chemical engineering with training as a "safety and health protection officer"
Many years of professional experience, including several years of experience as a safety engineer (f/d/m) in the chemical industry as well as experience in the management of an EHS department, preferably in the chemical industry
Leadership experience and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate at different levels in a matrix environment
