Role Purpose:
Our client seeks a talented Senior Corporate Counsel to support their expanding operations in the EMEA region. You will play a key role in managing commercial contracts, supporting sales as they expand into new markets, and providing comprehensive legal support for market expansions. This role is primarily focused within the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and mitigating legal risks. This hybrid role offers flexibility, requiring a couple of days a week in the Hamburg office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the company's products, markets, and regulations.
• Review, draft, and negotiate international distribution agreements.
• Coordinate board and shareholder meetings for subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with internal teams on commercial agreements.
• Advise sales and commercial teams on legal concepts and risks.
• Improve legal processes and standardize agreements.
• Manage external legal counsel and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Legal degree and valid practicing certificate.
• Around 5 years of Legal Counsel experience, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience with EU legal jurisdictions and drafting commercial documents.
