SAP Basis Administrator

You will support the global SAP users in a competent and service-oriented manner and operate SAP systems with your team members. You have experience in secure system operation and further development to implement migrations towards S/4 HANA, as well as continuously being open to further developing yourself in the SAP environment, with valuable support.

Employment Type: Full time | 37 hr per week | Hybrid.

Location: Neu-Isenburg, Hessen, Germany.

Responsibilities

🔸 Active support of SAP users (2nd/3rd level) with the help of the ticket system solutions used: error analysis & development of solution strategies. Creation of user documentation if required.

🔸 Participation in the further/new development of the SAP authorization concept.

🔸 Support of the client-side SAP UI key technologies, particularly SAPGUI, FIORI Launchpad, and WebDynpro ABAP.

🔸 Participation in projects/change requests of Global IT and the individual departments.

🔸 Control/coordination of the tasks of external service providers in the areas of SAP hosting and AMS.

🔸 Support in the commissioning of SAP third-party solutions.

🔸 Monitoring, optimization, configuration, and further development of the existing SAP system landscape (ERP/GTS/Solution Manager).

🔸 Support of SAP archiving and document management.

🔸 On-call availability for previously agreed project-related exceptional cases.

Your profile

🔹 Several years of experience in a similar position.

🔹 Very good understanding of authorization systems under SAP ERP and S/4 HANA.

🔹 In-depth know-how in the SAP Basis core areas (monitoring, performance, transportation, SAP infrastructure).

🔹 Good knowledge of SAP User Experience & SAP FIORI.

🔹 Basic knowledge of network and SAP security as well as the most important interfaces (including IDoc, EDI, RFC, API).

🔹 Basic knowledge of operating systems, databases, and networks.

🔹 SAP certification (e.g. Technology Associate) is a plus.

🔹 Good verbal and written communication skills in German and English.

🔹 Independent way of working and enjoying working in a team.

🔹 Fluency in German (C1-C2) and proficiency in English (B2-C1)
