Sales Director (m/f/d) Channel Management
The Impact you will make in this Role
This role will be pivotal in establishing and executing a comprehensive global channel management strategy following a recent salesforce restructuring. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strategic approach to sales in the B2B manufacturing sector, is data-driven and experienced in navigating various sales channels to expand market presence.
What You'll Do
Leading of the conception and ensuring of the execution of a global channel management strategy, encompassing diverse sales channels - with a focus on indirect sales
This includes consolidating the local sales channel management strategies into one global framework
Cross-functional collaboration to identify and convert sales channels into viable markets
Translation of the strategy into actionable, operational plans
Responsibility for strategic decision-making regarding the price-performance ratio, product portfolio and services to increase our market share in the targeted sales channels
Regular assessments of channel performance metrics and market data to derive insights, enhancing channel effectiveness, and implementing corrective measures as required
Developing and fostering strong relationships with existing and potential resellers, converting them into proactive partners for mutual growth
Providing strategic guidance and leadership to the sales channel team, encouraging a culture of innovation, excellence, and adaptability
Staying abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in B2B sales
Your Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Several years of work experience in a senior sales roles within a technical or manufacturing context
Demonstrated ability in managing diverse (indirect) sales channels
Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets
Proficiency in utilizing data analytics tools and CRM systems to drive informed decision-making and optimize sales performance across various channels
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor sales teams
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
Flexibility and willingness to travel globally as needed
Very good written and spoken English skills
Good to very good German skills are advantageous
