Research associates will be expected primarily to teach and conduct research. The research associate will also have the opportunity to pursue further academic qualifications, in particular a doctoral dissertation. At least one-third of set working hours will be made available for the research associate’s own academic work.
The Department of Cognitive Psychology, located at Universität Hamburg, is inviting scientists of exceptional talent to apply for a PhD position at the intersection of Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience.
Our lab provides an open, friendly, and supportive environment, with excellent access to all state-of-the-art technologies and a dense network of local, national and international collaborators. We are part of the internationally-oriented research training group “Emotional Learning and Memory” that provides an outstanding research training environment (https://www.emotionalmemory.de/). The successful candidate will work on an exciting project directed at understanding the neural and cognitive processes that underlie the effects of emotiona or stress on learning and memory processes.
excellent knowledge in the fields of Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience
