R&D Project Manager

One of the most established medical device companies in the Freiburg region is looking for R&D Project Managers. P.s, you need to be in the medical device industry to be qualified for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of R&D projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints. ISO 13485.
• Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project objectives and timelines. MDR.
• Foster collaboration and communication among internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to drive project progress and resolve issues effectively.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and guidelines throughout the product development lifecycle. MDR & ISO 13485.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, timelines, progress reports, and meeting minutes, to facilitate communication and decision-making.
• Implement and maintain quality management processes to ensure product safety, efficacy, and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project management processes, enhance efficiency, and support organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the medical device industry, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing R&D projects.
• Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and standards, including ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and EU MDR.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and drive project success.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English and German languages.
