Quality Engineer

Introduction: As a Plant Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes within our manufacturing plant. You will work closely with production teams to ensure all products meet both internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to implement effective quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies for the manufacturing process.
• Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Investigate customer complaints regarding product quality and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Train production staff on quality control procedures and ensure adherence to established standards.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics to management, highlighting areas of concern and recommending improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product launches and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
• Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a quality assurance role.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or Quality Management (CQM) is a plus.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
