What awaits this position?

• Analyze, detail, and contrast the technical specifications provided by the different departments of the Group in Germany.
• Explore the German market in search of alternatives that offer the Group the development of the best supplier base for the subsequent evaluation and negotiation of the different offers and contracts. This evaluation and selection of suppliers includes examining product quality, prices and delivery times, and then deciding which suppliers best fit the company's needs.
• Supplier evaluation will be an ongoing project, analyzing each contract and shipment to ensure that agreed agreements are reached and that goods and services continue to meet required standards. To maintain accurate and complete evaluations, presence at reference sector trade fairs, meetings with suppliers and visits to both supply plants and distribution centers is needed.
• Analyze and compare financial reports and commercial proposals from several reliable suppliers before negotiating terms and prices to obtain the best agreement for the company, ensuring maximum profitability of the group while minimizing the cost of operating expenses.
• Work with interested parties to establish and meet viable, profitable, and strategic supply objectives of the products and services required for the normal performance of the operations of the Group companies.
• • Monitor contracts to ensure supplier meets expectations and invoices are approved and paid promptly. As well as proposing the necessary adjustments or changes to existing contracts.
• Establish, keep alive and enforce area policies and procedures.
• Prepare periodic reports on detailed purchasing activity, and, where appropriate, propose corrective measures to achieve the objectives set by the Purchasing department.
• Know and monitor the main raw materials and commodity markets to make purchase decisions at the right time at the best possible price.

Qualifications requested?

• Industrial Organization Engineering or Graduate in Economics, Business Sciences or ADE, or similar.
• Fluent English (C1, test will be taken).
• Demonstrable ERP knowledge.
• Accustomed to working towards annual objectives and under monthly budget control.
• Minimum experience of 5 years as a Buyer and in direct and indirect purchases.
