Within ZEAL, the management of a complex regulatory environment is paramount to the company's success. As a Public Policy Manager / Regulatory Compliance Manager (f/m/x), the incumbent plays a crucial role in safeguarding and advancing ZEAL's business interests, particularly in the German market but with potential for broader European engagements. Reporting to the VP of Public Policy & Corporate Communications, this role offers flexibility with locations in the UK, Germany, or Spain, with periodic travel to the Hamburg office if not based there.

Your Responsibilities:
Managing and safeguarding gambling licenses for lotteries and online games at the national gambling authority (GGL)
Engaging with key stakeholders at GGL, providing reports, and managing requests
Contributing to the development and implementation of public policy strategies
Driving license applications for new products and services
Providing internal regulatory guidance and ensuring compliance with Glücksspielstaatsvertrag (GlüStV)
Supporting new business initiatives and departments like marketing, sales, and product development
Engaging with other authorities and political stakeholders
Supporting the VP of Public Policy & Corporate Communications
Your Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant working experience in public policy and/or regulatory compliance, preferably in a highly regulated industry, law firm, public affairs agency, or consultancy
Academic background (e.g., economics or law)
Strong analytical capabilities and understanding of complex regulatory frameworks
Attention to detail and goal orientation
Solution-oriented and execution-driven mindset
Strong communication skills in English and German
