Project & Partner Manager, Europe

Must have travel industry experience.

Location preference - Flexible in the Europe region, with ability to work some Pacific Time friendly hours.


Commitment: The contracted role will require up to 32 hours/week total 128/month.

The initial contract term will be a six-month term and may automatically renew as agreed to by both parties.

Overview: 

The Project Manager + Partner Manager role serves as the account and project management leader for assigned accounts, helping to secure and manage partnership products that the ATTA offers. Accounts generally include destinations/tourism boards, industry partners, and other brands. Partnership products may include but are not limited to event sponsorships (for ATTA events), advertising packages, research projects, destination FAM trips, AdventureWeeks, or multi-year contracts covering a variety of products. 


The Project Manager + Partner Manager supports the Regional Director/Business Development Manager with proposal design and the contracting process for securing partnerships, and maintains the day-to-day and annual management of secured partnerships, including managing and completing tasks related to the partnership, as well as delegating tasks to other team members such as the marketing team, administration team, registration teams, research teams, and others. The role also maintains communication with the partner, or provides necessary communication to the Regional Director to communicate to the partner. The Project + Partner Manager is also responsible for tracking all deliverables related to the partnership, and reporting back to the partner at contract completion. 


Sales Process Support:

  • Develop a strong understanding of ATTA products and stay up to date on new products in development to be able to suggest proposal inclusions, help design multi-year plans, and answer questions around partnerships
  • Work closely with assigned Regional Director(s)/Business Development Manager(s) to manage all incoming leads for your assigned accounts
  • Keep detailed track of lead status and updates through ATTA’s CRM, lead tracking, and other tools
  • Provide reminders and support to Regional Director(s)/Business Development Manager(s) to keep leads on the radar and moving along
  • Put together proposals for incoming leads for your assigned accounts
  • Review and draft contracts (using templates) to secure partnerships


Partner + Project Management:

  • Once a partnership is secured, the Project + Partner Manager will fully manage every aspect of the partnership, including but not limited to:
  • Invoicing, Salesforce tracking, administrative support
  • Managing kick off calls for projects, inviting and educating the proper team
  • Using the partnerships team tracking tools to track all aspects of the partnership
  • Ensuring all aspects of the partnership agreements are delivered throughout the year in a timely manner
  • Guard against project scope change by managing to sold deliverables
  • Communicating regularly and timely with partners on their needs and questions
  • Communicating regularly and timely with the Regional Director/Business Development Manager on status updates of the partnership
  • Managing other team members assignments on their responsibilities around certain projects in contracts in a timely manner (ie when marketing team, or research team, etc is needed as part of a partnership)
  • Tracking all deliverables and completing partnership reporting at end of contract year 
  • Projects will vary in size from month to month and from year to year. Projects may range from quick turn-around projects such as managing a single Partner Webinar, to long-term (9 months+) heavy management projects such as AdventureWeek or AdventureNEXT events.


Other/General:

  • Support Regional Director/Business Development Director in other ad/hoc projects as needed. 
  • Align’s work with ATTA’s values, mission, vision, and short- and long-term goals as set by the business.
  • Work directly with team Europe to coordinate and plan the detailed management of accounts, keeping the team fully informed on the status of all accounts and their partnerships/projects.
