T2M are currently working alongside a leading engineering services business who focussing on the installation, relocation and decommissioning of industrial machinery in a variety of sectors, to help them to recruit a Project Manager.

As a Projects Manager you’ll be responsible for leading and managing projects overseeing all the commercial, operational, financial, and health and safety aspects throughout the duration of projects.

Key Duties as a Project Manager

• Management of engineering projects associated with the installation, relocation and decommissioning of machinery
• To liaise with the Sales team to help with project quotations and successfully transition contracts into operation.
• Detail project timeliness and take Full P&L, budget and commercial responsibility of projects.
• To manage project costs and risks to improve efficiencies, performance and profitability.
• Detailing project timelines and ensuring budgets are met.
• To ensure compliance, making sure that all work carried out is documented in line with current legislation and company procedures.
• Maintain and manage Health & Safety standards within the team and to sub-contractors.

Skills and experience required to be a successful Project Manager

• An engineering background, with knowledge/experience of machinery installations or relocations.
• Project Management skills such as: planning, budgeting, and working to timelines.
• Confident with excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills.
• Experience in managing and ensuring health and safety including risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in both English and German desirable

This is a hybrid role based from customer sites overseeing projects in and around Essen and the North West Region. There is a salary of somewhere in the region of €80,000 – 100,000 available for the role depending on experience.
