UPS is seeking to strengthen the EMEAI Region engineering service group – building and systems engineering (BaSE). We are looking for a Director responsible for leading and coordination of major facility and systems projects, including design, engineering, execution and budget control throughout the EMEAI Region.

Your tasks
End to end leadership and responsibility for new facilities and sorting technology projects, major expansions and high impact automation projects
Develop, design, engineer and execute facility and automation projects across the EMEAI region
Lead a team of project engineers and coordinate the region’s BaSE activities with the Region BaSE Function Head
Organize work and manage the team to ensure projects are delivered in line with timelines, quality standards, internal procedures and within budget.
Cooperate cross functionally to create project budgets within the UPS’s financial expectations and guidelines
Benchmark market design philosophies and practices and participate by internal innovation efforts to implement latest technological state of art equipment and to use most effective sorting methods
Manage resources and people processes to ensure the day-to-day administration of processes and formal procedures
Travel within EMEAI Region to different projects sites
Your Qualifications
Engineering degree (Master or equivalent degree)
Extensive professional experience (10+ years), at least 5 years in building and systems project management, logistics background is plus
Strong project management skills and good comprehension of related digital tools (i.e. Power BI, AutoCAD)
Familiarity with industrial automation software platforms (Advanced Control Systems) such as Tia portal or equivalents and relevant programing languages is a plus
Excellent English language skills
Excellent leadership skills
Interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
