GETTING A FLYING START

As a Production and Quality Manager, you will oversee the entire production process and ensure top-quality standards at our MCS Hanover site. You will be responsible for planning and organizing production schedules, implementing industrial plans to boost productivity, and developing quality management systems. This role is vital for supporting Nexans' strategic goals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

• Organizational Skills: You will plan and organize production schedules, ensuring efficient and timely operations.
• Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems to maintain high manufacturing standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop production teams, fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
• Customer Centricity: Enhance customer services, including spare parts management and testing & commissioning, to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Process Improvement: Implement 5S, Lean, and Just-in-Time methodologies to optimize processes and productivity.

YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN

• Educational Background: Engineering degree or technician in mechanical or electrical engineering with over 5 years of experience.
• Industry Experience: Proven experience in machinery or automation manufacturing.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and developing teams in a production environment.
• Quality Management Expertise: Qualifications and experience in quality management are essential.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and German (additional languages are a plus).
