We are seeking a process manager in supply chain management with a highly analytical background to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the development and execution of efficient and quantitative streamlined processes for the material management, specifically of local trading goods within our sales companies. Your responsibilities will span from overseeing the implementation of effective data-driven strategies to monitoring and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring the attainment of required service levels while minimising stock levels. As a key player, you will be instrumental in establishing a centralized center of excellence for material management.
We are looking for you in our office in Allendorf (Eder) or in Berlin.
Your impact
Develop and implement efficient processes for the material management, in particular local trading goods in sales companies
Create dashboards and visualizations to present complex data
Monitor and optimize inventory levels to achieve the required service level while minimizing stock levels
Collect and analyze large datasets from different sources to support supply chain decision making
Build and manage a central center of excellence for material management, ensuring best practices are established and adhered to across the organization
Collaborate with sales companies to align material management strategies with overall business objectives
Conduct regular assessments of existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements to drive operational excellence
Functionally lead and mentor teams of Logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Who you are
With your analytical judgment and expertise in supply chain management, you are ready to optimize the material management and to support in data evaluation.
Successfully completed Bachelor's or even advanced degree in business administration, engineering, data science or related fields with a major in SCM
Proven experience in material management and/ or process management, data science or data analysis role, preferably in supply chain management
Experience with data analysis tools and algorithm development (R, Python data science and machine learning libraries, SQL, Big Query)
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx)
Understanding of supply chain processes and systems
Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as SAP, IBP and GIB
Confident in managing remote teams with strong presentation and problem solving skills to facilitate with multiple stakeholders and inputs
Experience in leading intercultural teams / intercultural stakeholder management
Excellent English and very good German language skills
