WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED


  • Define product strategy, roadmap and backlog for your own area and drive meaningful impact for the customer and business by delivering on them successfully and quickly across the customer journey
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and across teams and functions to identify strategic priorities based on delivering superior customer value and creating business impact
  • Backup your intuition, ideas and decisions through data-driven insights, a high degree of customer empathy and a thorough understanding of market specific trends and customer behaviour
  • Involve and engage commercial stakeholders across all phases of product development, share updates, foster alignment and secure buy-in for decisions
  • Author all important product documents including a product roadmap, working backwards press releases, definition of business requirements, as well as functional specifications
  • Define KPIs for your area, understand how they impact our business performance long-term and monitor success over time

Zalando Plus is Zalando’s annual membership that makes it easy to look and feel your best every day. We delight members with the best of extraordinary fashion, unmatched convenience and personal services. In order to achieve our vision, Plus will need to be the best version of Zalando. For that, we deaverage the Zalando customer experience. #2 Build a leading subscription business Understand the intricacies of a subscription business from customer acquisition, engagement & retention, to payments instruments and CRM. Unlock the biggest levers to scale the membership and improve the customer experience.

#3 Coach a world-class product team and be an essential contributor to Zalando’s product community and practice

To support in realising the ambitious goals for the team, we are seeking to appoint an experienced product leader to define and prioritise the strategic product roadmap.

Product Leadership Be one of the most senior individual contributors in the Product Job Family at Zalando. You bring 5+ years of experience building and leading products in product centric organisations and have a proven track record of creating customer value.

Subscription business experience You have substantial experience at a subscription business and understand customer needs and challenges at scale.

Strategic Vision In line with the Zalando Plus strategy, you help us take the membership experience to the next level.

Technical Background We expect you to fly high and dive deep. Strong hands on experience and leadership experience in product management is needed.
