Physicist / Scientist (m/f/d)

Our subsidiary, the 'Yield Technology Group' located in Feldkirchen (near Munich) develops and produces high-precision electron optical devices (electron microscopes) with a close collaboration with internationally networked locations such as Taiwan, India and California .

For our constantly growing located in Feldkirchen, we are looking to strengthening our team and hence actively looking for a Physicist/Scientist (m/f/d) who is willing to joining our development team and leading the design, realization and experimental verification of novel e-beam optical modules for process control solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creation and optimization of the module architecture and system interfaces
  • Defining technical requirements and aligning on system level
  • Overseeing complex system requirements and architectural implications
  • Demonstrating a strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and application to complex technical projects
  • Simulation, modelling and system performance analysis
  • Working in close cooperation in a multidisciplinary, international R&D team
  • Encouraging innovations in the team to develop new ideas that can overcome design bottlenecks

Requirements

  • PhD in physics or a comparable discipline with experience in relevant work areas
  • Expertise in the development of high-end electron beam systems
  • Good knowledge in the field of (ultra) high vacuum and high voltage technology
  • Broad experience in electron-optical simulations
  • Experience in the design of experiments and talent for solving complex problems
  • Technical leadership skills, high level of intrinsic motivation and initiative
  • Good organizational, communication and project management skills
  • Experience in micro and Nano-fabrication processes (e.g., MEMS)
